Announcements / Joys and Concerns

Opening Prayer / Lord’s Prayer

Call to Worship:
Leader: Stillness of mind is what is being commanded today.
PEOPLE: A REST IN THE SPIRIT WITH CONFIDENCE OF WHO OUR GOD IS AND
WHAT HE IS ABLE TO DO ON OUR BEHALF.
Leader: Are you troubled in your mind? Is the ocean of your life rising? Is the storm
in your life raging and the thunder seems to continue to roar without any relief in
your life?
PEOPLE: PEOPLE OF GOD, “BE STILL” FOR GOD DECLARES THAT HE, THE GREAT “I
AM” IS GOD AND BESIDES HIM THERE IS NO OTHER.
Leader: Yes, the Lord our God gives us an assurance on today that we can take
courage in Him, regardless of what is going on in our lives.
PEOPLE: THE COMMAND TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD IS TO BE “STILL.” THIS DOES
NOT MEAN STOP AND DO NOTHING. BUT WHAT IT DOES MEAN IS TO BE STILL IN
YOUR SPIRITUAL POSITION WITH CHRIST. BE STILL SPIRITUALLY. STAY CALM!
TRUST GOD AND OBEY.
