Call to Worship:
Leader: See what love has been given to us, that we should be called children of God.
PEOPLE: by this we know love, that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, and lived and died, that God’s love might be made plain among us.
Leader: Therefore, beloved, let us know love in word or in speech but in deed and in truth.
PEOPLE: Because we love one another, we know that we have passed from death into life. This is the victory that overcomes the world, through Jesus our risen Christ Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Announcements & Community Events

Bible Study & Sunday School: Join us Tuesday and Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Community Dinner: This will be our last dinner which will be held on Wednesday the 11th at 5:30 p.m. This program has been blessed by your faithfulness of serving, preparing food, and monetary donations.

Grade 6-12 Band Concert: It will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10th at the DHS Auditorium.

Middle School Play: The play will be held on Friday, May 13th at 6:00 p.m. at the DHS Auditorium.

City Wide Clean-Up Day: This will be held on Saturday, May 14th.

Next Sunday Service: Pastor will be away as it is her daughter, Courtney’s grad weekend. We’re doing a hymn sing, so service will be a little different. If you have a favorite hymn and want it included in the service, please let the church office know.
