The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Announcements & Community Events

Sunday School: Join us Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Bible Study: The regular Tuesday bible study is cancelled for this upcoming week.

Community Dinner: What a blessing this has been to the community and to our church family. We have such a talented group of cooks each week that bless us with their tasty delights. Thanks for all the kitchen help, delivery drivers, clean-up crew and the financial help. Thanks again until next fall.

Graduation: The grad ceremony will be held this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at the DHS gym. Congratulations to all.

Schools Out: The last day of school for Douglass students is Thursday. Wishing our students, a blessed summer filled with relaxation and fun!

Love in a Lunchbox Program: We will once again join with the Ministerial Alliance in this summer lunch program. Our dates are June 23rd and July 28th. Sheryl will be letting us know more details.

Sr. Center Breakfast: The Sr. Center will be hosting their regular biscuit & gravy breakfast on Saturday, May 21st from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. Congratulations to Jeanine & Chuck Cody on the birth of their grandson, Robert Dale Cody born on May 4th. Proud grandparents for the first time!
