Announcements & Community Events

Bible Study & Sunday School: Join us Tuesday and Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Hope Connections: who helps persons in need of food in Douglass and Rose Hill has been inundated with people in need this summer. The cupboards are bare. They have some items, but the ones that are in short supply are: Crackers, Peanut Butter, Ravioli, Canned Chicken and Canned Meat, Granola Bars, Spaghetti Sauce. Cash donations are also accepted.

VBS Opportunities: Douglass First Christian Church: July 17th – 21st 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. | Douglass First Baptist Church: July 23rd to July 27th – 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Leadership Meeting: The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 18th at 11:00 a.m. If you have any agenda items, please give them to Dee, Pastor or Ev.

Healthy Congregation Grant: Thanks to our Healthy Congregation Team of Cheryl Wilson, Sheryl Brotton, Larry Darter, Glenda Lindteigen & Austin Althouse for all their efforts to acquire this grant. The team is focused on ensuring that our congregation and community are supported, seen, and loved.

Back to School Food & Supply Drive: Rose Hill PD is teaming up with Hope Connections and Dollar General to collect food and school supplies for our kids: Mary Flippo is our contact person. Join them on Saturday, Aug. 5th from 10:00 – 2:00 at Dollar General in Rose Hill.
